A Control Panel is a tool used to control the content of an Internet hosting account. This can include, but is not limited to, files, email messages, databases, stats and different operations performed with them. The CP provides a web-based interface to manage all these things and anything else relevant to the website hosting service via different sections in which you can access features through menus and/or buttons. The less difficult to use a CP is, the simpler it'll be for you to handle your presence online in its entirety. In the general scenario, the CP is the hosting account’s back office, while a different billing account is employed to control payments and domain registrations - if the company provides this service. Trouble tickets may be managed from the billing account or by using a separate system.
